Child Tax Credits

If you are currently claiming child tax credits with a household income below £16,010 per year you should qualify for a grant to have your old in-efficient or broken boiler replaced. You will also need to be the home owner or private tenant, and the current boiler in the property needs to be 8+ years old, or 5-8 years old broken/faulty.

Working Tax Credits

you’re in a low income household with one of the main residents claiming working tax credits you could qualify for a boiler grant through the free boiler scheme. You will need to have a total household income below £16,010 per year and meet one of the following; be responsible for a child under 20 years old, receive a disabled worker element or be aged over 60 years old.

Low-Income Homes
